Dion Rumsey

Director of Business Development

Dion Rumsey is a seasoned, 40 year veteran of the insurance and healthcare industries. Currently, Dion is the Director of Business Development at the Network of Advanced Specialty Healthcare (NASH).

Throughout his career, Dion has applied his experience to provide strategic, innovative, cost effective solutions to his clients, regardless of size and corporate culture. His vast business relationships and industry credibility have afforded him the ability to be a trusted advisor, who is both proactive and responsive to his clients’ needs. Dion has held roles as a senior sales executive, sales leader, and account executive, working for both large healthcare consulting firms and start up initiatives with an emphasis on employee benefits. Prior to joining NASH, Dion was an Area Vice President at the Gallagher Benefits New York City office. He spent his first 28 years at MetLIfe, fast-tracking through the finance organization and then moving over to sales, where he was recognized for his success and being named a sales leader multiple years.

Dion has been passionate about giving back to others, and has served on Advisory Boards over the course of his career to help drive their success. He carries that same passion in being present and active in community service and philanthropic endeavors.

Dion received his Bachelor of Science Accounting degree from Queens College of the City University of New York in 1984 and holds a Life and Health Insurance Agent/Broker’s License in New York as well.
