Dr. Daniel Rios
Director of Orthopedics
Before joining NASH as the Director of Orthopedics, Daniel Rios, MD, served in private practice at the Zambrano Hellion Hospital in Monterrey, Mexico, a research institution of the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), the leading private university in Mexico.
Dr. Rios earned a degree in medicine from the University of Monterrey in 2003 and a degree in orthopedic surgery in March of 2010. Later, he undertook a biologic joint reconstruction fellowship at Harvard Medical School at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital between 2010 and 2011. Between July 2011 and June 2012, he was a shoulder visiting research scholar at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado.
Dr. Rios is a member of the American Academy of Orthopadeic Surgeons (AAOS) and of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons (AAHKS), and he makes a significant contribution to indigent healthcare by serving on the voluntary medical staff as a national responsible physician for Operation Walk Denver.
