SUMMARY OF NETWORK OF ADVANCED SPECIALTY HEALTHCARE (“NASH”) SEARCH
The Network of Advanced Specialty Healthcare (NASH) is seeking a Patient Coordinator, Refills. The successful candidate will be a licensed pharmacy technician and possess a progressively responsible background in delivering patient/customer care and advocacy in specialty drug delivery, case management, or patient advocacy.
NASH is a U.S.-based healthcare innovator committed to reducing drug costs and expanding access to life-saving specialty medications. We offer over 450 brand-name drugs sourced directly from manufacturers or licensed wholesalers, ensuring authenticity through a secure supply chain. As part of our patient-centered model, we partner with licensed pharmacies in Canada to deliver uninterrupted therapies via personal importation or direct shipment to our US based customers. Our approach fosters true patient-physician relationships and delivers 40–60%+ savings for employers, brokers, and patients.
We are currently seeking:
A Patient Coordinator, Refills, to deliver compassionate, high-touch support to our customer patients. This role ensures seamless medication access, continuity of therapy, and personalized service throughout the patient journey. This position is responsible for refill related patient tasks including but not limited to paperwork completion, refill process oversight, medical records keeping, prescription profiling and pharmacy coordination. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor patient refill process by assisting patient with compliant administration, medication possession assessment, shipping coordination, etc.
- Manage patient outreach for refill management call cycle via calls, emails and secured texts
- Oversee shipments in transit to ensure safety, security and timely arrival
- Coordinate personal importation and direct shipment logistics between patient and pharmacy
- Contribute to the development of program protocols, identifying best practices for patient
- medical file management and engaging with patients to ensure patient satisfaction
- Be a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and collaborate with all NASH team members to ensure that all aspects of patient enrollment and retention are in place to successfully grow patient pool
- Educate patients, providers, and employers on NASH’s specialty pharmacy model
- Prevent therapy interruptions by managing timelines and patient communications
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory and documentation standards
- Collaborate with brokers, employers, and internal teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide empathetic, timely support to patients throughout their treatment journey
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in patient services and pharmacy coordination within the specialty or mail order space
- Pharmacy Technician license
- Fluency in English and Spanish languages required, including the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients and patients regarding general medical and pharmacy topics.
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with HIPAA, pharmacy regulations, and importation protocols
- Ability to maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant remote work environment
- The ability to communicate complex medical information clearly to diverse patient populations with culturally sensitive communication for equitable access to care and patient advocacy
- Ability to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion reference and background checks
