3-4 Weeks Pre-Surgery

Before surgery the NASH team and your bariatric surgeon will review your medical history. You’ll have a consult with your surgeon, a nutritional consultation, and a psychology consultation.

Once approved, we work swiftly to schedule your surgery and make all of your travel arrangements.

Arrival in Monterrey

When you arrive you’ll be greeted by private transport that will escort you to your hotel. After settling in, you’ll complete medical forms and review your personalized itinerary. You’ll also have a doctor appointment where you can have any final questions addressed, an evaluation, and an educational session.

Day of Surgery

On the day of your surgery, your NASH nurse concierge will accompany you from your hotel to the hospital to ensure a seamless transition. You’ll meet with your surgeon and be guided through pre-operative preparations with compassion and expertise. 

After surgery you’ll remain in the hospital for recovery and monitoring, with staff ensuring your comfort and well-being as you start the next phase of your journey toward health!

Discharge from Hospital and Travel Home

After you get the okay from your surgeon, you’ll be discharged and escorted to your hotel. You’ll travel home when recommended by your surgeon (typically within 3-5 days after surgery).

Before you go, we’ll make sure you have all the necessary tools and information you need for continued success. 

12-Month Post-Surgery Care Program

Our comprehensive post-operative care program is designed to support you every step of the way.

After surgery you’ll get biweekly nutrition follow ups, monthly psychology follow ups, virtual MD visits at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months, and labs at 3, 6, and 12 months.
